What's going on?

Since I last posted.

Will turned 7.

Mother's Day (Happy Mother's Day mom!) She's great. She'll understand.

Dr. Mattox diagnosed Zach with Autism (mild). We don't believe it and neither does anyone else. Denial? He's functioning wonderfully and we're going to just keep doing what we've been doing.

One niece finished her first year of college.

One niece graduated from high school.

Watched another niece play T-ball.

Watched two nieces dance in their recital.

What are my nephews doing?

So much more happened but since it's been so long I don't remember. It has been over two months. That's a long time, right?

See ya in July or August. Maybe?

The Noticer by Andy Andrews

Sometimes, all a person needs is a little perspective. The Noticer is a story about a man named Jones who seems to show up at just the right time to give some helpful advice to individuals. Jones, a homeless man, travels with a suitcase and a wealth of knowledge. He’s the type of individual that people want to be around.

This is a good story about this Jones character but I have to say I’m not a fan of Andy Andrews writing style. You will find a ton of good advice throughout this entire book if you can get through it. Some people say they can’t put this book down. I had trouble wanting to pick it back up. You may be one of those people that just fall in love with this story. I really struggled with it.

The message of finding perspective in life’s moments or seasons is inspiring. The way it’s told is not.
