The 2008 Fort Smith Regional Air Show will take place on May 17 & 18, which is Armed Forces weekend. The United States Air Force Thunderbirds and the United States Army Golden Knights parachute team will be performing as well as many others.The photo above was taken by myself one day when I was out near the airport and happened to have my camera with me. This is an A-10 Thunderbolt II a.k.a. Warthog from the 188th Fighter Wing stationed in Fort Smith. They were out practicing on a beautiful clear day.
